The LBTEK single-mode fiber Faraday mirror is primarily fabricated utilizing the Faraday magneto-optic effect. The input light enters through the optical fiber, is collimated into parallel light by a collimator, and passes through the Faraday rotator mirror, where its polarization state is rotated by 45°. After reflection by the mirror surface, the light travels back along the original path and passes through the Faraday rotator mirror again. Under the Faraday magneto-optic effect, the polarization rotation direction of the reflected light is the same as that of the incident light, resulting in an additional 45° rotation. At this point, the polarization state of the reflected light is perpendicular (90°) to that of the incident light, and it is finally coupled back into the original fiber via the collimator for output. It is mainly used in applications such as fiber amplifiers, fiber lasers, and fiber sensing. LBTEK offers various customization services, including wavelength, fiber type, rotation angle, and connector options. For specific customization requirements, please contact LBTEK Technical Support.

  • Rotation Angle: 90° (incident → emergent)
  • Bandwidth: ±15 nm
  • FC/APC or FC/UPC Connector
The LBTEK single-mode fiber Faraday mirror is primarily composed of a fiber collimator, Faraday rotation crystal, magnetic ring, and planar mirror (typically a reflective filter). It features low insertion loss, minimal rotation angle error, and excellent environmental stability and reliability, effectively minimizing parameter variations in the fiber caused by thermal and mechanical disturbances. All LBTEK fiber Faraday mirrors undergo rigorous testing before leaving the factory and come with test datasheets for customer reference.
