The LBTEK Manual Fiber Polishing Disc ensures secure connection of fiber connectors and maintains the proper angle for grinding ceramic ferrules. Align the polishing disc with the fiber connector at the appropriate polishing position, and use it together with fiber polishing (grinding) film to simplify the fiber polishing process. Please note that each polishing disc corresponds to a specific connector type and is not interchangeable. Confirm the connector type and size before purchase.

LBTEK manual fiber optic polishing discs employ an electropolishing process for surface treatment, significantly reducing surface roughness and improving smoothness. Different types of polishing discs can connect to corresponding fiber optic patch cords, while threaded connectors ensure secure attachment to fiber optic ports. The SM2D-FAPC features an 8° angle design, allowing for proper angled polishing of ceramic ferrules.
Fiber optic polishing discs are used with fiber optic patch cords and lapping films.
