Compared to conventional spherical lenses, molded aspheric lenses do not introduce spherical aberration into the transmitted wavefront when focusing or collimating a beam. LBTEK utilizes D-ZK3, D-ZLAF52LA, and D-LAK6 glass to manufacture molded aspheric lenses in various sizes. These three materials have higher refractive indices than B270 glass, resulting in molded aspheric lenses with larger numerical apertures (NA) and lower f-numbers (f/#). To ensure optimal performance, when collimating a point source, the beam should be incident on the flatter surface of the lens; when focusing a collimated beam, the beam should be incident on the surface with greater curvature. Compared to precision-polished aspheric lenses, molded aspheric lenses have better production consistency and are suitable for mass production. LBTEK provides molded aspheric lenses with 350-700 nm anti-reflection coatings, available in both unmounted and mounted options. Our lenses are finely processed with strict quality control, ensuring that LBTEK delivers high-quality lens products to customers at reasonable prices.
