Product Description
  • Substrate Material: B270
  • High Numerical Aperture (NA)
  • Operating Wavelength: 1100 nm-1650 nm (AR Coating)
  • Application: Condensing, Projection and Detection
Compared to conventional spherical lenses, aspheric condenser lenses feature larger numerical aperture (NA) and lower f-number (f/#). These condensers are suitable for collimating broadband light sources, LEDs, or other illumination scenarios requiring high efficiency. To ensure optimal performance, when used for point source collimation, the light beam should be incident on the flatter surface of the lens; when the aspheric condenser lens is used for focusing collimated beams, the light should be incident on the surface with greater curvature. LBTEK manufactures various aspheric condenser lenses using B270 glass, a high-quality glass developed by Schott with excellent surface flatness and superior optical performance, offering high transmittance in the visible spectrum. Compared to precision-polished aspheric lenses, molded aspheric condenser lenses provide better production consistency and are suitable for mass production. LBTEK offers uncoated aspheric condenser lenses as well as lenses with three types of anti-reflection coatings: 400 nm-700 nm, 700 nm-1100 nm, and 1100 nm-1650 nm. All our lenses undergo fine processing and strict quality control to ensure that LBTEK delivers high-quality optical products at competitive prices.
