The Miniature dovetail translation stage from LBTEK features a compact design suitable for applications with space constraints and moderate positioning requirements. With a 25 mm×25 mm stage and 13 mm maximum travel, it utilizes M3×0.35 precision adjustment screws. The stage includes side locking screws operable with 1.5 mm hex keys, while the base incorporates an M4 tapped hole for mounting onto Ø12 mm optical posts and a top M4 tapped hole for optical component mounts or accessories. The accessory includes a top mounting plate adapter with a series of M3 and M4 mounting taps and keyways, facilitating the installation of our 30 mm coaxial system components. The base plate conversion bracket is used to mount the stage onto an optical table, available for all two-axis and three-axis configurations, but can also be used individually for single-axis stages. A right-angle conversion bracket allows the stage to be easily assembled into XZ, YZ, or XYZ configurations, while a rotary adapter can be added to rotate a single stage up to 360°. Additionally, a coaxial system adapter is provided for mounting the stage using a 60 mm coaxial system.

A reference edge extending along the bottom edge of the base plate prevents unwanted rotation when connected to the stage. The top plate surface includes two 4 mm wide keyways, with orthogonal keyway alignment for convenient assembly integration, along with twelve M3 and four M4 tapped mounting holes for securing various components.

The top plate connects the micro dovetail translation stage with the rotary mount and is installed in the 60 mm coaxial system via a coaxial adapter bracket.

Rotary Adapter Bracket

The rotary adapter bracket from LBTEK features 360° adjustable rotation on one side with a flexible locking mechanism, which can be secured by tightening the M3 socket head cap screw (using a 2.5 mm hex key) on the side. The other side integrates a right angle adapter bracket(RAT-25 bracket), allowing installation to existing single-axis, dual-axis, or three-axis configurations via M4 screws. This mount can connect to micro dovetail translation stages or other optomechanical components with M4 tapped holes, such as vertically mounting two micro dovetail stages or using the FTF-25 base adapter to fix stages perpendicularly on optical tables /breadboards. By removing the right angle adapter bracket, it can also be paired with the CFF-25 coaxial adapter for integration into 60 mm coaxial systems.

The 60 mm coaxial system adapter bracket from LBTEK enables the installation of micro dovetail translation stages into 60 mm coaxial optical systems. The miniature dovetail stage can be directly mounted via the central M4 countersunk hole or alternatively adapted using the RAF-25 rotary adapter (mounted via M4 tapped holes). Within the coaxial system, the position can be adjusted by sliding along the post, with final fixation achieved by tightening the two M3 set screws on the side using a 1.5 mm hex key.

The top plate connects the micro dovetail translation stage with the rotary mount and is installed in the 60 mm coaxial system via a coaxial adapter bracket.

By loosening the M3 screws and clamping plate, the micro dovetail stage can be nested into the central groove and firmly fixed by tightening the M3 screws. This nested mechanism enables quick installation and removal for convenient operation.

The displacement stage achieves 360°continuous rotation, with the outer circumference of stage graduated at 2° intervals with difference graduation lines to achieve an accuracy of 10′. Locking is controlled by a lateral rubber-tipped screw. The rotating platform surface includes four M3 tapped holes, one M4 tapped hole, and four M3 countersunk holes. The base contains four M3 countersunk holes for mounting micro dovetail translation stages. The side contains one M3 mounting hole enabling vertical installation of the translation stage.
