The LBTEK fiber polarizer is made of fiber, collimator, and polarizer. By precisely adjusting the axial alignment between the fiber and the polarizer, high extinction ratio linearly polarized light output can be obtained. The fiber polarizer can be used in non-polarization-maintaining single-mode fiber transmission systems to obtain linearly polarized light output, and also in polarization-maintaining single-mode fiber transmission systems to attenuate orthogonally polarized light and enhance the extinction ratio of the polarization signal. All LBTEK fiber polarizers use 2.0 mm narrow key connectors to ensure the alignment accuracy between connectors and prevent the deterioration of the extinction ratio during transmission. LBTEK offers fiber polarizers with various center wavelengths from 780 nm to 2000 nm and multiple types of connectors. Fiber polarizers are widely used in fiber optic gyro systems, polarization-maintaining fiber amplifiers, fiber lasers, high-speed communication systems, and instrumentation applications. LBTEK Non-Polarization-Maintaining Fiber Input Polarizer, with non-polarization-maintaining single-mode fiber as input and polarization-maintaining single-mode fiber as output. The LBTEK fiber polarizer is suitable for fiber optic network transmission and measurement applications, including polarization analysis, polarization monitoring and control, polarization mode dispersion (PMD) monitoring, and optimizing polarization extinction ratio, such as in polarization-maintaining fiber amplifiers, fiber lasers, high-speed communication systems, and instrumentation applications. Additionally, SM and PM patch cords, as well as collimators with pigtail connectors, are available, which can be well-matched with our fiber polarizers. Furthermore, LBTEK offers customized services, providing specialized customization for different fiber lengths, wavelengths, connector types, and other requirements.
