The LBTEK F-Theta lens (F-Theta Lens, FT) is a telecentric scanning lens that utilizes high-transmissivity optical glass as the substrate. It consists of a lens group integrated into a mechanical housing with a specific design scheme. The height of the focused beam is f×θ (where θ is the incident angle of the incoming beam), so the angular velocities of the input and output beams are directly proportional. This enables the galvanometer scanner to operate at a constant angular speed. It is commonly used to enhance the ability of edge beams to reach the detector, homogenize irradiance distribution on the photosensitive surface of the detector, and compensate for field curvature and distortion in the system. The F-Theta lens provides a flat-field image plane during use while significantly simplifying the controlling circuitry. It features high transmissivity, an extended scanning range, low aberration, and minimized F-Theta distortion. In applications involving low to medium laser power microprocessing—such as marking machines, engraving machines, laser printers, fax machines, printing presses, as well as laser pattern generators for semiconductor integrated circuits and precision laser scanning equipment—it holds significant development potential. LBTEK currently offers standard F-Theta lenses with working wavelengths of 532 nm and 1064 nm, and focal lengths of 330 mm, 160 mm, and 347 mm. F-Theta lens, 532 nm
  • Flat-field image plane with extended scanning range of 245×245 mm
  • Air gap design with low aberration
  • Minimized F-Theta distortion

LBTEK offers F-Theta lenses with a working wavelength of 532 nm, featuring a protective window at the exit end with high transmittance. These lenses can be combined with 2D scanning galvanometers and beam expanders. Within their scanning range, the focused spot size at the center is nearly identical to that at the edge, ensuring uniform energy and resolution distribution of the focused spot on the detector's photosensitive surface. The product comes with an M85×1.0 mounting thread specification, making it compatible with most commercial marking systems without requiring thread adapters.
