The LBTEK Bessel Processing Head (BPH) is an optical module designed for the terminal of laser processing systems. It comes in two models: refractive and diffractive. The diffractive type integrates both diffractive and refractive optical elements within a metal mechanical sleeve, while the refractive type employs high-transmittance and high-damage-threshold optical components. Both types utilize the light-field modulation of axicon lenses and the beam shaping of a double-telecentric optical system to generate Bessel beams that meet the requirements of laser processing. The LBTEK Bessel Processing Head is suitable for single-mode lasers. Its optical components are made of high-transmittance substrates, ensuring high energy efficiency. The compact modular design facilitates easy integration and offers excellent compatibility with various laser processing systems. Through unique optical design, it achieves minimal aberration. The central lobe size of the output spot is <Ø5 μm, enabling cutting with minimal chipping, small heat-affected zones, and zero taper within a depth range of 0.2 mm to 12 mm (including custom specifications). LBTEK currently offers standard Bessel Processing Heads with a working wavelength (λ) of 1064 nm and air focal depths of 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8 mm. The processing head includes a λ/4 waveplate at the incident end for convenient circular polarization modulation of the incident light, and its output port size specifications are either half-inch or 1-inch.
