The high-precision electric filter wheel EM-FWM series is designed for various automated applications such as fluorescence microscopic imaging, spectral measurement, and color CCD imaging. Each unit consists of a motorized housing and a six-position turret for mounting optical filters, accommodating optical components with a maximum thickness of 6.35 mm and a diameter of Ø1 inch (Ø25.4 mm). The filter wheel features two separate aperture through-holes with SM1 internal threads, allowing the installation of SM1 external-thread optomechanical components. The aperture through-holes are also compatible with LBTEK's 30 mm coaxial system, with each through-hole port equipped with four M3 threaded holes for mounting coaxial rods. The EM-FWM serves as the main control unit for the EM-FWM6 and EM-FWM6C models. All devices consist of a control unit, a filter wheel housing, and a detachable filter wheel assembly.

The EM-FWM series products allow manual selection of filters using the ▲ or ▼ button controls on the display panel, or remote switching via Type-C interface communication with a computer. They also support external TTL-equivalent level output triggering. The display screen shows the currently selected filter, and the brightness can be adjusted using the DIM button on the filter wheel. The two aperture through-holes on the filter wheel can be switched via the A/B button controls on the housing to accommodate different optical paths. The bottom features two M6 and one M4 threaded holes for mounting onto optical platforms using connecting rods. The EM-FWM filter wheel series offers flexible installation and convenient operation, making it highly suitable for instrument systems and laboratory applications. LBTEK provides control software for the EM-FWM filter wheel products, along with SDK manuals for LabVIEW and Visual C++.
