Deuterium Lamps
  • Operating wavelength: 185-600 nm
  • SMA905 standard interface output
  • Can be used as a light source for high-precision analytical instruments
  • Output fiber needs to be selected separately

LBTEK's Deuterium Lamps emit a continuous spectrum ranging from the ultraviolet band of 160-400 nm to the visible light range of 400-800 nm. Therefore, deuterium lamps can serve as high-precision light sources for analytical measurement instruments, such as liquid chromatographs and spectrometers. When using a deuterium lamp light source, it is recommended to pair it with the XSR600-1 UV-resistant quartz fiber. Since quartz also absorbs below 300 nm, when wavelengths below 300 nm are required, UV radiation-preprocessed optical fibers are necessary to achieve optimal performance.

Xenon Ultraviolet Lamps
  • Operating wavelength: 220-2000 nm
  • Modular heat dissipation method extends lamp life
  • SMA905 standard interface output
  • Output fiber needs to be selected separately

LBTEK provides a Xenon Ultraviolet Light Source with an output wavelength range of 200-2200 nm, which is a high-power full-spectrum light source with continuous wavelength distribution. It adopts imported xenon lamp bulbs and an advanced modular heat dissipation design to ensure concentrated and stable light energy output. The high-efficiency coupling SMA905 interface facilitates effective utilization of light in experiments. When using the xenon ultraviolet light source, it can be paired with the XSR600-1 UV-resistant quartz fiber. Since quartz also absorbs below 300 nm, when wavelengths below 300 nm are required, UV radiation-preprocessed optical fibers are necessary to achieve optimal performance.

Deuterium-Halogen Combined Light Sources
  • Operating wavelength: 190-400 nm & 360-2500 nm
  • Halogen lamp output intensity is adjustable, enabling balanced deuterium-halogen spectral output
  • SMA905 standard interface output
  • Output fiber needs to be selected separately

The illumination principle of tungsten halogen lamps is based on the principle of thermal radiation and the phenomenon of objects emitting light when heated. When sufficient current is applied to the filament, it heats up to an incandescent state and emits light. Its lifespan is related to the operating temperature—the higher the color temperature, the shorter the lifespan. The wavelength range of the deuterium-halogen combined light source provided by LBTEK typically spans from 360 nm to 2000 nm. When using the deuterium-halogen combined light source, it is recommended to pair it with the XSR600-1 UV-resistant quartz fiber, especially when utilizing wavelengths below 300 nm. Since quartz also absorbs light below 300 nm, UV-resistant pre-treated fibers are necessary to achieve optimal performance.

Deuterium-Tungsten Lamps
  • Operating wavelength: 185-2500 nm
  • SMA905 output interface
  • Output fiber needs to be selected separately

LBTEK's Compact Deuterium-Tungsten Light Source utilizes a high-frequency driven electrodeless discharge lamp (EDL), featuring small size, low power consumption, and long service life. The deuterium-tungsten lamp assembly consists of a deuterium lamp, tungsten lamp, shutter, and optical path system. Its operating wavelength range is 185 nm-2500 nm, with the deuterium lamp covering 185-400 nm and the tungsten lamp covering 400-2500 nm. Both lamps can be used independently as light sources. The output interface type is SMA905. When connected to a 12 V/0.6 A DC power supply, the green LED indicator lights up, requiring a 25-minute warm-up period. To minimize the impact of frequent power switching on the lamp's lifespan, the shutter is typically used to control the light source after warm-up. Additionally, the deuterium-tungsten lamp features external triggering capability, allowing independent TTL signal control of the deuterium lamp, tungsten lamp, and shutter.
