One side of the LBTEK Economical Plate Beamsplitter is coated with a dielectric beamsplitter coating. When the non-polarized light is incident on the coated surface at an angle of 45°, a splitting ratio of 30:70 can be achieved in the visible spectrum (450 nm-650 nm). Backside reflections may cause interference phenomena in the reflected light. For applications sensitive to such effects, please consider using non-polarizing beamsplitter cubes.
