Product Description
  • Optical element material: F2
  • Dispersing beam
  • Size: 10 mm, 25 mm optional
LBTEK equilateral dispersive prisms are manufactured from F2 material and are available in 10 mm and 25 mm side lengths. They have varying refractive powers for different wavelengths, with a higher refractive index for short wavelengths and a lower refractive index for long wavelengths. Equilateral dispersive prisms are typically used at minimum deflection angles. At this angle, light of the working wavelength is parallel to the base of the prism. Furthermore, since this angle is close to Brewster's angle, loss of P-polarized light is minimized. Equilateral dispersive prisms can disperse light of varying wavelengths, making them suitable for applications such as spectral analysis.

LBTEK Equilateral Dispersive Prisms are made from F2, which offers high transmittance from the visible to the near-infrared wavelength range, a high refractive index, and a low Abbe number. The minimum deviation angle of F2 material at 633 nm is 47.9°, and its Abbe number is 36.37. LBTEK equilateral dispersive prisms are available in 10 mm and 25 mm side lengths. They can be mounted using a two-dimensionally adjustable mounting platform.
