Product Description
  • Application: Forms a Straight Line with Uniform Energy Distribution
  • Used for Ø0.8 mm Gaussian-Distributed Collimated Beams
  • Multiple Divergence Angles Available: 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, etc.
LBTEK Powell Lenses (also known as laser line-generating lenses) fan out collimated beams into one-dimensional straight laser lines. They redistribute the optical power of a Ø0.8 mm (1/e²) Gaussian collimated beam at 633 nm into a uniform line profile. Within the central 80% of the generated laser line, the non-uniformity is less than 30%. Compared to cylindrical lenses, Powell lenses eliminate the central hot spot and fading edges typical of Gaussian beam profiles, resulting in a more uniform line intensity. LBTEK offers Powell lenses with multiple fan angles and supports customization based on specific laser module requirements to achieve optimal line uniformity. Powell Lenses, 400 nm-1100 nm
  • Anti-Reflection Coating: 400 nm-1100 nm
  • Divergence Angle: 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°
  • Collimates a Ø0.8 mm (1/e^2) Gaussian Beam

The LBTEK Powell Lense is made of N-BK7 material with an anti-reflection coating for 400 nm-1100 nm. It can be mounted to a rotation adjustment frame via the TAD-09 adapter to adjust the direction of the outgoing laser line. When used with a He-Ne laser HNL-2-RP, the 400 nm-1100 nm circular Powell prism achieves optimal laser line uniformity. Using other wavelengths or beam diameters may result in suboptimal performance.
