N-BK7 ground glass diffusers can be used in a variety of applications requiring a Gaussian diffuser. When in use, the ground surface should be positioned away from the light source. LBTEK ground glass diffusers are available in three sizes: 12.7 mm, 25.4 mm, and 50.8 mm in diameter. Single-sided and double-sided ground are available. Single-sided ground is available in uncoated and AR-coated options from 400 nm to 700 nm. LBTEK also offers custom diffusers with AR coatings from 700 nm to 1100 nm and 1100 nm to 1700 nm. LBTEK offers a variety of ground finishes to accommodate a wide range of scattering applications, from fine to coarse. Generally speaking, coarse grit (120, 220) provides greater diffuse scattering but lower transmittance, while fine grit (600, 1500) reduces diffuse scattering but offers higher transmittance. LBTEK also provides customized an ti-reflection coating services for 700 nm-1100 nm and 1100 nm-1700 nm. For specific customization requirements, please contact LBTEK technical support.

LBTEK offers a variety of ground & polished surfaces in various specifications, enabling a wide range of scattering applications, from fine to coarse. Generally speaking, coarse grit (120, 220) provides greater diffuse scattering but lower transmittance, while fine grit (600, 1500) reduces diffuse scattering but offers higher transmittance. LBTEK circular frosted glass diffusers can be mounted on LBTEK standard lens tubes, fixed lens mounts, and various coaxial mounting plates. The optimal mounting method can be selected for each application scenario. In addition to standard products, LBTEK also offers custom AR coatings for 700 nm-1100 nm and 1100 nm-1700 nm.
