The LBTEK Five-Axis Fiber Coupler Mounting Base and Wall Plate provide various mounting bases and wall plates for installing different fiber coupling components. These mounting bases allow for easy installation of adjustment components while maintaining a constant beam height of 14.3 mm for the mounted optical elements. Each optical element mounting assembly features two rigid positioning pins at the bottom, with corresponding positioning pin holes on the mounting base. The wall plate is specifically designed for mounting five-axis fiber couplers. Additionally, adapter mounting bases and wall plates are available to transition from 30 mm coaxial systems to fiber coupling systems.

The fiber coupler mounting base from LBTEK is designed for the installation of fiber couplers and the construction of miniature fiber optic systems, offering an optical circuit that ensures long-term stability and high coupling efficiency. Both side plates of the mounting base are furnished with four M2 tapped holes, enabling a secure threaded connection with fiber couplers, and each side plate incorporates an SM1 female hole, which is compatible with LBTEK‘s Ø25.4 mm lens tubes and other SM1 threaded components. The base plate is designed with two M6 countersunk slots on either side, facilitating the parallel and secure fastening of the base plate to optical tables or breadboards using M6 socket head cap screws, and the bottom surface of the base plate features M6 tapped holes, allowing for connection to post holders. The purchase comes with two M6 socket head cap screws and flat washers. 

 

The fiber coupler mounting base is used to build miniature fiber systems.

The fiber coupler wall plate from LBTEK can be mounted on the lateral surface of the fiber coupler mounting base using the two included M4 screws. It features four M2 tapped holes for connection with the fiber coupler screw threads and includes an SM1 internal tapped hole, compatible with LBTEK's Ø25.4 mm lens tubes and other SM1 tapped components. The purchase comes with an SM1 retaining ring.

The fiber coupler wall plate is mounted on the side of the FP-50.

The LBTEK 30 mm coaxial system adapter BFOPM-30 is designed for fiber optic coupling assemblies, enabling the integration of our five-axis fiber optic coupling accessories with 30 mm cage systems. It features two pin holes that allow the optical component mounts from our fiber coupling accessories to be installed and secured using a 1.5 mm hex wrench. The mount includes two snap-in flexible clamps for attaching our Ø6 mm cage rods, which can be locked in place with a 1.5 mm hex wrench. The coaxial holes feature a snap-in design, allowing components to be easily inserted and removed without disassembling the entire coaxial system. When this mount is used within a coaxial system and the coaxial system is attached to the coupling system via the FP-OPM30 coaxial plate, all optical components maintain the same beam height of 14.3 mm. An M4 threaded hole at the base of the BFOPM-30 mount allows it to be secured to an OP-XX series post. Please note that this cage system mount is not compatible with fiber coupler accessories that exceed 19 mm in width perpendicular to the optical axis.

The LBTEK 30 mm Flexible Optical Post Mount FOPM-9B is designed to center a five-axis fiber optic coupler in a 30 mm coaxial system. A 6 mm diameter post can be inserted into any of the four coaxial holes included with the adapter, as shown in the right figure. Additionally, the adapter comes with four necessary M2 hex socket screws for securing the five-axis fiber optic coupler to the adapter. Its coaxial plate features SM1 internal threads, making it compatible with our lens tube series products.

The LBTEK He-Ne laser adapter assemblies enable direct mounting of five-axis fiber couplers onto front panels of LGK-series and HNL-2-RP He-Ne lasers. The HNLA1 assembly features four M2 threaded holes and four M3 slotted holes, with included M2/M3 screws for dual-stage installation: M3 screws secure the adapter to the laser body, while M2 screws fasten the five-axis fiber coupler. The HNLA2 assembly incorporates four M2 front-panel threaded holes and four lateral M4 set screw interfaces, with included lateral M4 set screws for HNL-2-RP laser housing securement and M2 screws for fiber coupler alignment. Both assemblies include a central C-Mount thread interface (ISO 11148 standard) for universal laser mounting compatibility.

The LBTEK extension rod adapter can be used to mount five-axis fiber coupler accessories onto OP-XX series extension rods. The BF-OP can be installed onto OP-XX series extension rods via the central M4 threaded hole of the adapter, thereby enabling the mounting of coupling accessories onto extension rods for free-space applications. The side features an M3 screw, which can be tightened using a 1.5 mm hex wrench to secure the mounting components.

LBTEK Fiber Coupler Wall Panel integrates fiber-optic coupling systems with coaxial systems. It mounts on the end face of fiber coupler mounts using two included M4 cheese head screws. FP-OPM30 supports 16mm and 30mm coaxial systems: 16mm ports lock via set screws, 30mm ports use flexible locking with cheese head screws, both requiring 2mm hex wrenches. FP-SM05 has four M3 threaded holes for 16mm coaxial installation. Both models feature central SM05-threaded holes for SM05 sleeve mounting. FP-OPM30 includes two SM05RS retaining rings; FP-SM05 includes one. When combining systems, ensure fiber coupling support to prevent coaxial rod torque. Direct optical platform mounting works for low coaxial systems. Elevated coaxial setups require OP1-XXB extension rods via M4/M6 threaded holes to stabilize the fiber coupler mount.

It is compatible with fiber coupler panels such as FP-SM1 and FP-SM05 to create multiple input and output ports. The center features multiple sets of mounting holes for installing five-axis fiber coupler optical mounts like BFT4-5C and BFR05A. For mounting holes without set screws in the center, UV adhesive can be used to secure the optical mounts. Each mounting base includes M6 mounting slots for installation on optical platforms or breadboards.
