The LBTEK 0.5-inch vacuum series optical mount is designed for mounting optical components with a diameter of 12.7 mm and can be installed in either left-handed or right-handed configurations. The optical component is secured using flexure spring plate and fixing screws, or alternatively with a retaining ring. The M4×0.2 precision adjuster provides the mount with an angular adjustment range of ±5°. The VSS series features a unique vacuum structural design. At an ambient temperature of 23°C, it can be directly used in a vacuum environment of 10^(-6) Torr right after unpacking. For applications in vacuum environments ranging from 10^(-6) Torr to 10^(-9) Torr, it is recommended to bake the product at 110°C for 5 hours before installation to remove any attached grease or moisture. Note: All VSS products are pre-baked before leaving the factory, which may result in varying degrees of light yellow discoloration. This appearance is normal and does not affect vacuum performance. Avoid contact with greasy or moist objects when using this series of products.

The LBTEK 0.5-inch stainless steel mount is designed for mounting optical components with a diameter of 12.7 mm, featuring three knobless M4×0.2 precision adjusters. Two optical component clamping methods are available: the VSS-MT-AM05 uses flexible spring leaves and fixing screws to secure the optical component, with a minimum component thickness of 2 mm; the VSS-MT-AM05T employs retaining rings to directly fix the optical component, and two stainless steel retaining rings are included with the purchase. The maximum thickness for ring-fixed optical components should not exceed 6.6 mm. The three knobless M4×0.2 precision adjusters allow for pitch and yaw adjustments of the optical component using a hex key. The optical mount features M4 countersunk mounting holes on the side. Purchasing the LBTEK vacuum-compatible mount includes vacuum-compatible ultra-thin hex screws (with vent holes) and a hex key.

Two optical component fixing methods are available: VSS-MT-AM05S1 uses flexible spring plates and a set screw to secure the optical component, with a minimum component thickness of 2 mm; VSS-MT-AM05T1 uses a retaining ring to directly secure the optical component. The purchase of the mount includes 2 stainless steel retaining rings, and the maximum thickness for the retaining ring fixed optical component is 6.6 mm. The 2 knobless M4×0.2 precision adjusters allow for adjustment of the optical component's pitch and yaw using a hex key. The side of the optical mount features an M4 countersunk mounting hole. Purchasing the LBTEK vacuum-compatible mount includes vacuum-compatible hex socket ultra-thin head screws (with vent holes) and a hex key.
