The LBTEK vacuum series rods are made of 316L stainless steel. All products in this series are manufactured using the same material and heat treatment process, resulting in a low thermal expansion coefficient that enhances the stability of the entire system. Each rod features an M4 thread at the top and an M6 thread at the bottom, both with a Ø2 mm positioning hole for aligning optical component mounts. The VSS series incorporates a unique vacuum structural design. At 23°C, the rods can be directly used in a vacuum environment of 10^(-6) Torr right after unpacking. For applications in vacuum environments ranging from 10^(-6) Torr to 10^(-9) Torr, it is recommended to bake the product at 110°C for 5 hours before use to remove any attached grease or moisture. Note: VSS products are pre-baked before leaving the factory, which may result in a slight yellowish tint. This appearance is normal and does not affect performance in vacuum. Avoid contact with greasy or moist objects when using this series of products.
