LBTEK fixed magnification laser beam expanders provide five magnification options: 2X, 3X, 5X, 10X, and 20X, as well as four coating selections: UV, 355 nm, 532 nm, and 1064 nm. These Galilean beam expanders feature an air-spaced design, with all optical elements made from UV fused silica and coated with high-damage-threshold anti-reflection coatings, ensuring stable operation in high-power laser environments. The beam expanders are designed with low aberration, offering a transmitted wavefront error better than λ/4, which minimizes the degradation of the output beam's M² value after expansion. An adjustment ring is located at the waist for tuning the divergence angle of the output beam, meeting the requirements for non-collimated beam expansion. During rotation of the adjustment ring, the unique mechanical design ensures that the internal lens only moves axially without rotating with the ring, effectively reducing beam positional shifts caused by divergence angle adjustments, thereby making the beam expander more stable and reliable in use. Additionally, depending on the magnification, the input end is equipped with both SM1 external threads and SM05 internal threads, while the output end features SM1 external threads (2X), M43×0.5 external threads (3X/5X/10X), and SM2 external threads (20X). The mechanical length is fixed, and the end is non-rotatable, facilitating quick integration into optical systems. Specifically designed for ultraviolet laser applications, it adopts a Galilean telescope structure, composed of a negative lens and a set of air-spaced positive lenses. This beam expander can enlarge or reduce parallel incident beams within the working wavelength by a fixed magnification factor. The transmitted wavefront error after expansion/reduction is better than λ/4, with minimal aberration and extremely low impact on beam quality. An adjustment ring is provided at the waist of the beam expander to adjust the divergence angle of the output beam, meeting the requirements for non-collimated beam expansion. The adjustment ring features a special mechanical design; when rotated, the internal lens moves only along the optical axis without rotating with the ring, effectively suppressing beam position shift during divergence angle adjustment, ensuring more stable and reliable operation. Different thread interfaces are provided at the input and output ends for easy system integration. The waist supports clamping installation via a holder, flexibly adapting to various application scenarios.
