LBTEK's SM05 lens sleeves are commonly used to secure optical components with a diameter of Ø12.7 mm or to block stray light in optical paths, preventing ambient light from affecting the system. LBTEK's SM05 lens sleeves are available in four versions: with internal and external threads at both ends (SM05-xxA), with internal threads at both ends (SM05-xxB), with external threads at both ends (SM05-xxC), and slotted lens sleeves with internal and external threads at both ends (SM05-xxD). Lens sleeves can be combined to extend their length, facilitating the rapid assembly of compact optical systems. By using a retaining ring wrench, the retaining ring can be positioned at the desired location inside the lens sleeve to separate and secure optical components. In addition to the standard SM05 lens sleeves, LBTEK also offers SM1 and SM2 lens sleeves, as well as compatible accessories such as lens sleeve adapters, retaining rings, and retaining ring wrenches.

LBTEK 0.5-inch stackable slotted lens tubes feature side slots, enabling quick and easy assembly of complex optical setups and allowing for adjustment of optical elements without disassembling the device. Multiple optical elements can be mounted within a single lens tube using several retaining rings. First, screw the first retaining ring to the desired depth, place the optical element, and then secure it with a second retaining ring. Optical elements can be manually adjusted through the side slots without the need for a spanner wrench. The lens tubes come with a rotatable sliding cover that can close the tube's slots, preventing stray light from entering the system while keeping the optical setup clean. Each lens tube includes two retaining rings.
