The LBTEK Optical Rotation Mount combines the features of both an optical mount and a manual rotation mount. It provides ±3° or ±4° of pitch and yaw adjustment while also enabling continuous 360° rotation with a scale precision of 2°. Both the position of the adjuster and the rotation of the mount can be individually locked using locking screws. As such, this precision optical rotation mount is particularly suitable for holding rotationally asymmetric optical components, such as polarizing optics or cylindrical lenses. The base of the optical rotation mount features M4 tapped holes or M4 countersunk holes, allowing for left-handed or right-handed installation of optical components.

The LBTEK Optical Precision Rotation Mount features an SM05 tapped hole at its center, allowing the installation of optical components with a diameter of Ø12.7 mm and a maximum thickness of 7.2 mm using the included SM05R retaining ring. Additionally, an SM05 lens tube can be threaded into the mount to secure thicker optical components. The mount is equipped with two M5X025-25KL precision adjustment screw pairs, each featuring an M3 locking screw in the threaded bushing. These locking screws can be secured using a 1.5 mm hex wrench. The rotation of the mount can be fixed using an M4 locking screw, which can be tightened or loosened with a 2.0 mm hex wrench.

The LBTEK Optical Rotation Mount is commonly used in requiring control over the angular position and rotation of optical components. It features a central SM2 tapped hole for mounting Ø25.4 mm diameter optical elements (up to 9.4 mm thickness) using the included SM2R retaining ring. Additionally, an SM1 lens tube can be threaded into the mount to secure thicker optical components. The mount is equipped with three M6 precision adjustment screws. On the sidewall where the screws are installed, there is an M4 locking screw that can be tightened or loosened using a 2.0 mm hex wrench to secure the adjustment screws. The 360° rotation of the mount can also be independently locked using an M4 locking screw, which can be adjusted with a 2.0 mm hex wrench. Purchasing the LBTEK Optical Rotation Mount includes one 2.0 mm hex wrench.
