The LBTEK Rochon Prism is a polarization device composed of two negative uniaxial crystal prisms (calcite or α-BBO) with mutually perpendicular optical axes, bonded together through adhesive bonding or optical contact process. When the natural light is incident, two beams of linearly polarized light with orthogonal polarization directions and a certain separation angle can be obtained at the transmission end of the prism.
The Rochon prism is installed in the rotation mirror mount.
