By using this adapter plate, an XY-axis linear translation stage combined with a single-axis linear translation stage forms an XYZ-axis linear translation stage, while two single-axis stages assemble into an XZ-axis linear translation stage.

LS90VA is typically employed in assembling XYZ-axis translation stages.
