Product Description
  • UV fused silica lens set, integrated into the mechanical housing with Galilean structure
  • Optimized design for diffraction limit, no internal focus, high adjustment precision
  • It can be used to adjust the incident laser beam to different sizes and divergence angles
  • Lockable with self-contained rubber-tipped screws
  • Customization of variable magnification laser beam expanders for different wavelengths and magnifications available
LBTEK variable magnification laser beam expander is mainly composed of 3 groups of lenses made of UV fused silica (UVFS), which are integrated into the mechanical housing with Galilean structure. The relative displacement of the first and second groups of lenses will change the magnification of the beam expander, and the relative displacement of the second and third groups of lenses will change the divergence angle of the beam expander. The incident end of the beam expander is engraved with position marks corresponding to each magnification, and the output end is engraved with position marks and distance marks corresponding to each magnification. For collimated incident light, when the incident end and the output end are rotated to the corresponding position marks, a collimated beam with the corresponding magnification can be obtained. The standard LBTEK variable magnification laser beam expander has optional magnifications of 1-4X and 2-10X, and the wavelengths are 355 nm, 532 nm and 1064 nm. It is optimized for diffraction limit, has no internal focus, and has a locking structure, which is very suitable for high-power laser processing. In addition, LBTEK supports the customization of variable magnification laser beam expanders with different wavelengths and magnifications. For details, please consult LBTEK technical support.
Laser Beam Expander Adapters
  • Ø2" smooth surface, SM2 threaded ends
  • Ø37.8 mm smooth inner diameter, fixed with rubber head set screw
  • Compatible with LZBE series variable magnification beam expanders

LBTEK Laser Beam Expander Adapters are suitable for mounting and adapting LZBE series variable magnification laser beam expanders. They can be adapted to optical components such as adjustment mounts, coaxial systems, etc. with Ø2" light wall holes or SM2 tapped holes. The clamped part is fixed and mounted with an M4 rubber head set screw on the side to prevent the clamped part from rotating and sliding, ensuring that the center of the clamp is aligned with the optical axis. The M4 rubber head set screw can be adjusted and locked with a 2.0 mm hex key.

The SM2-A37 adapter allows the integration of the laser beam expander (LZBE-532-2-10X) into the UAMM5-2A.

Laser Beam Expander Mounting Bracket
  • The mounting bracket is used to install and fix LZBE series variable magnification laser beam expander.
  • Smooth edges, space-saving design
  • M4 threaded holes at the bottom for optical rod connection

The LBTEK Laser Beam Expander Mount is specifically designed for use with the LZBE series of variable magnification laser beam expanders, which can be fixed to a breadboard or optical table. To install this series of beam expanders, you need to pass through the inner ring of the mount to install them. The top lateral locking screw can elastically deform the mount to lock the mount without damaging the tube due to the screw being too long during installation. The mount has an M4 tapped mounting hole at the bottom, which can be supported by a Ø12.7 mm stainless steel optical post or other connector. A 3.0 mm hex key is included for locking.

The LZBE-532-1-4X is mounted on the post via LZBE-FR1

1X-4X Variable Magnification Laser Beam Expander
  • UV fused silica material, diffraction-limited optimized design
  • Galilean structure, no internal focus
  • 1X-4X beam expansion adjustable with high divergence angle tuning precision

The optical element of LBTEK 1X-4X variable magnification laser beam expander is made of ultraviolet fused quartz (UVFS), which is optimized for diffraction limit. The lens group has a Galilean structure and no internal focus, which meets the application requirements of most scientific research and industrial scenarios. The beam expander can be installed in the optical system by holding it with a clamp and locking it with a rubber head screw. The standard working wavelength is 355 nm, 532 nm, and 1064 nm, and the magnification of the incident laser beam size can be adjusted from 1X to 4X. ※Due to the replacement of the old and new versions, there are differences in the glossiness of the housing, but it does not affect the size specifications and optical performance.
