The Airy beam converter provided by LBTEK is a two-dimensional, first-order Airy beam converter (Airy Beam Converter, AB). It is fabricated based on liquid crystal polymer material (Liquid Crystal Polymers, LCP) and N-BK7 window substrates, presenting a sandwich structure of "front and rear glass substrates with an intermediate LCP functional film layer," without a housing, and featuring a single-sided 1.5 mm chamfer. In the LCP layer, the liquid crystal polymer molecules form a cubic phase distribution, providing the same λ/2 retardation across the entire device plane, making it a single-wavelength device. The Airy beam converter is a polarization-dependent component that can be used to convert Gaussian beams into Airy beams with transverse self-accelerating, self-healing, and non-diffracting properties. Its applications in particle manipulation, material processing, microscopic imaging, and optical detection have been extensively studied.
