Product Description
  • Pure rotary motion around a virtual point;
  • It can be assembled into multi-axis angular translation stages;
  • It can be fully locked;
The manual angular translation stage from LBTEK enables precise rotation of an object around a fixed point within a small angular range. Similar to linear translation stages but providing rotation instead of linear motion, this stage performs partial rotation about a fixed point located above the mounting surface. LBTEK ingeniously designs the distance from the rotation point to the mounting surface, allowing two different models of angular translation stages to be stacked in an XY configuration while both stages rotate around the same point. The stages are available in two versions: one featuring an arc-shaped ball/crossed roller ralis system that reduces overall height for a low profile design critical for XY stage stacking, with crossed roller bearings providing multidirectional stability under load; and another utilizing a compact arc-shaped T-slot mechanism that offers a more economical solution with further minimized dimensions while maintaining performance.

Angular Translation Stage, Crossed Roller Rail
  • Left-hand drive with standard micrometer head;
  • Stage size: 65 mm × 65 mm;
  • Travel: ±8°/±10°
  • M6 mounting holes;

The manual angular translation stage from LBTEK provides unobstructed, pure rotary movement within a specified angular range. Featuring a compact and stackable design, these stages can be mounted in series (the AS65-1050L1 on the AS65-0875L1) with overlapping rotation points to create dual-axis systems while maintaining coincident centers of rotation for XY angular adjustment. The pre-assembled AS65-0850L2 offers an integrated dual-axis configuration for immediate use. Equipped with a micrometer drive for precise and repeatable positioning, each stage includes a 1° graduated scale on the side for angle measurement. A thumb set screw on the side allows secure fixation at the desired position, while four M6 countersunk holes on the base enable mounting onto breadboards, optical tables, or other stages using M6 screws.

AS65-1050L1 is mounted on AS65-0875L1.

Angular Translation Stage, Arc-Shaped T-Slot
  • Direct drive at the end, with customized micrometer head;
  • Stage size: 38.1mm×38.1mm;
  • Travel: ±5°/±10°;
  • M4/M3 tapped holes, M6 mounting countersunk slots;

The manual angular translation stage from LBTEK provides unobstructed pure rotary movement within a specified angular range through its precision arc-shaped T-slot design, which incorporates ball-spring mechanisms to eliminate machining gaps and enhance motion stability. Its compact, stackable design allows one stage to be mounted onto another's top plate to create dual-axis systems with coincident rotation points (GPR-25.4 mounted on GPR-44.4 achieves overlapping rotation centers for XY angular adjustment). The pre-assembled GPR2-25.4 offers direct dual-axis functionality. The micrometer head enables coarse repeatable positioning with a custom pitch (1° rotation per full turn, 2.4′ per division), complemented by differential scales on the side offering 10′ precision. A set screw (operated with the included 1.5 mm hex key) secures the stage at desired positions. The base features two M6 countersunk slots for mounting to breadboards, optical tables, or other stages, while the top plate includes M4 and M3 tapped holes for attaching posts, mirror mounts, or other components with M4 tapped holes/countersunks holes.

The angular translation stage is mounted on the LS40-13C1 stainless steel translation stage.
