The adjustable adapters from LBTEK integrate circular optical components or cylindrical components into coaxial systems or optical component mounts. Unlike thread adapters, they allow adjustment of optical components pitch and yaw using a 2.0 mm hex key.

The adjustable adapter TAD05KF from LBTEK mounts and fixes Ø12.7 mm optical components or components with SM05 screw threads. The TAD11KF accommodates Ø11 mm cylindrical components, and the TAD12KF accommodates Ø12 mm cylindrical components, all commonly used for fiber collimator fixation. The first two adjustable adapters provide ±4° pitch/yaw adjustment, while the TAD12KF offers ±5° pitch/yaw adjustment. These adapters' SM1 males are compatible with Ø25.4 mm lens tubes or 30 mm coaxial systems, each including an SM1NR locking ring. Two M4×0.25 fine adjustment screws on the front panel of the adapter control pitch and yaw, adjustable with the supplied 2.0 mm hex key. The front panel is marked with pitch and yaw axis indicators and features two holes for the OWR-U adjustable key. Note: When adjusting the M4 fine adjustment screws, remain within the adjustable range of ±4°. To prevent product failure caused by over-insertion of fine adjustment screws leading to disengagement from the outer mounting ring, ensure that the depth between the mounting surface of the outside ring and the screw surface does not exceed 2 mm during adjustment.

The Ø25.4 mm smooth-bore of the adapter is compatible with mounting components featuring the Ø25.4 mm inner diameter, such as when paired with COPM1B for applications in 30 mm coaxial systems. Two M4×0.25 fine adjustment screws on the front panel of the adapter control pitch and yaw, adjustable using the 2.0 mm hex key.
